On March 6, 2023, Qingdao Hisense Broadband Multimedia Technology Co., LTD. (Hisense Broadband for short) announced the launch of the industry's first 800G QSFP-DD BiDi SR4.2 product, extending the company's market-leading portfolio of high-speed short-range multi-mode products. Based on the 100G Ethernet multimode protocol, the product transmits over 100 meters over multimode fibers at dual wavelength 800G rates. Breakout supports 4x200G or 2x400G docking and meets our customers' growing speed requirements through a variety of flexible fusion architectures.

The 800G SR4.2 product enables data centers to seamlessly upgrade across platforms without changing their existing fiber architecture, providing cost-effective, high-speed connectivity for next-generation data center servers and switches. Products comply with QSFP-DD MSA and Terabit BiDi MSA industry standards, support 0~70℃ quotient temperature and module power consumption is less than 15W.
