Fremont, California, USA - The OIF Optical Interconnection Forum will present the NGON&5G Transport 2023 conference from May 30 to June 1 in France's Cote d 'Azur, where it will showcase its 25 years of driving industrial standards and technological advances in optical networking.
At the NGON&5G Transport Conference, OIF will present its latest views in the fields of 800LR/ZR,400ZR,CEI,CMIS and CPO. Nathan Tracy of TE Connectivity, Co-Chair of the OIF Physical Chain Level Market Awareness and Education Committee, said he was pleased to present at the conference 25 years of OIF's achievements in driving the advancement of the optical networking industry. OIF is committed to driving industry progress through connectivity. Connectivity is critical to the development of the optical network industry.
The OIF will hold a seminar titled "OIF: Bringing Order to Chaos" at 9 a.m. local time on Wednesday. Dave Brown from Nokia and Karl Gass from the OIF Physical Link Layer Working Group will chair the session. The OIF will also host a panel on "IP-Optical Networks, Coherent Technologies" at 5:10 p.m. on October 31. Karl Gass will host the event, which will also include Telefonica's Edward Echeverry and Omdia's Ian Redpath.
