Shanghai, China, March 16, 2023 -- VIAVI Solutions (NASDAQ: VIAV) announced that the AVX-10K flight path test unit has been approved for use on all Boeing commercial aircraft. Previously, IFR4000 and IFR6000 have been approved for use.
The AVX-10K is used to verify performance and troubleshoot airborne systems during installation, maintenance, and biannual inspections as required. The device combines the communication, navigation, and monitoring test capabilities of the VIAVI IFR4000 and IFR6000. From rapid automated system testing to in-depth troubleshooting, the AVX-10K's versatile testing capabilities meet maintenance needs everywhere in the cockpit and fuselage.
AVX-10K has met Boeing's equivalence requirements for IFR4000 and IFR6000 and has designated "AVX-10K" as the part number for the AMM manifest.
