4-Channel QSFP-DD 400Gdps Product Test And Evaluation Board
QSFP-DD (also known as QSFP56-DD) stands for four-channel small pluggable dual density and is an optical module interface designed for 400G and higher rate applications. It is fully compliant with the IEEE802.3bs and QSFP-DD MSA (Multi-Source Protocol) standards and achieves higher bandwidth and data transfer rates by providing double the number of electrical channels (compared to the standard QSFP28).
Features of 4-channel 400G QSFP-DD
High speed: Using PAM4 modulation technology, the data rate of each channel can reach 50Gb/s, and the total throughput speed can reach 400G.
High density: Compared to the standard QSFP28 module, the QSFP-DD module supports twice the number of high-speed electrical interfaces, resulting in increased bandwidth density.
Backward compatibility: Support for existing QSFP modules such as QSFP+, QSFP28, etc., provides flexibility for end users and system designers.
Low power consumption: The power consumption is usually between 7-12W, and the lower power consumption helps to reduce the operating cost of the transceiver.
High thermal performance: Improved thermal performance with 2x1 stacked integrated cage/connectors and thermal support for SMT connectors and 1xN cage designs.
