15Gbps Full Rate CDR Provide The Clock Recovery Signal Instruments
U9710C CDR (Clock Recovery ) is mainly used to provide clock recovery signal in the test environment without triggering clock, so as to use the sampling oscilloscope to test the optical eye diagram of the device. The typical application is the testing of optical network equipment or the BOB product in PON application. Because the photometric device itself has no frequency division clock output, it is necessary to recover the clock signal to trigger the sampling oscilloscope when testing the optical eye diagram.
Key technical indicators
Jitter tolerance: It needs to meet standards such as ITU-T G.8251 and IEEE 802.3. Usually, the input jitter tolerance is required to be at the UI (unit interval) level (such as ±0.5UI).
Output jitter: The jitter of the recovery clock should be below the 100fs (femtosecond) level to ensure the test accuracy of downstream devices such as bit error rate testers and oscilloscopes.
Sensitivity: Supports optical signal input as low as -15 DBM (via photoelectric conversion module) or MV-level electrical signal input.
Loop bandwidth: The adjustable range is typically from 100kHz to 20MHz to accommodate different signal characteristics and test requirements.
