400G PAM4 Error Meter High-Speed Optical Transceiver Module Equipment
The 400G PAM4 error analyzer is a high-performance error analyzer designed to test PAM4 (four-level pulse amplitude modulation) signals at 400G rates. It can switch NRZ (non-returnto-zero code) and PAM4 code without any peripheral accessories, providing an effective guarantee for the automated production and testing of high-speed optical transceiver modules.
Main feature
High speed and high performance: The 400G PAM4 error meter supports transmission rates up to 400G, which can meet the test requirements of current and future high-speed communication systems. At the same time, its high-performance error analysis capability can ensure the accuracy and reliability of the test.
Multi-channel parallel testing: Some 400G PAM4 error detectors (such as BERTWaveE856F) support 8 channels in parallel, with a single channel up to 28.9GBd, greatly improving test efficiency.
Flexible code type selection: The 400G PAM4 error tester supports a variety of NRZ and PAM4 code types, including PRBS (pseudo-random binary sequence) series code types, user-defined code types, etc., to meet the needs of different test scenarios.
Adjustable output signal: the amplitude of the output signal can be adjusted, the polarity can be freely flipped, and it supports two test modes: timing and continuous, providing more flexibility and convenience for testing.
FEC support: Some 400G PAM4 error detectors (such as BERTWaveE856F) support KP4-RS (544, 514) FEC (forward error correction), which further improves test accuracy and reliability.

The 400G PAM4 error meter is widely used in the development and production of optical transceiver modules (such as QSFP-DD/OSFP/QSFP28/CFPx/CXP), especially in the testing of parallel 400G products. In addition, it can also be used in the development and production of optical devices/subsystems, incoming quality inspection and production of system equipment suppliers, installation and troubleshooting of system equipment, and performance verification of cable assemblies.
